Cherry Crunch

A crunchy streusel topping and a phyllo shell crunch accompany sweet juicy cherries in these bite-sized desserts.

  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • 8 ounces canned cherry pie or pastry filling
  • 2 packages (15 count, each) Athens®  Phyllo Shells


To make streusel topping, in a food processor, place nuts, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and butter. Pulse 5 times so mixture mixture is coarsely chopped. Spoon cherry pie filling into each phyllo shell. Top with 1/2 teaspoon of streusel topping. Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 15-20 minutes. Serve immediately.
