Make it Fabulous with Phyllo Recipe Contest Entry

  • 20 sheets Athens® Phyllo Dough (9″ x 14″), thawed
  • Cooking Spray
  • 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup raspberry jam
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish


Thaw 1 roll of phyllo, following thawing instructions on package. Preheat oven to 375°F. Place phyllo on work surface. Layer two sheets of phyllo with cooking spray. Cut the stack of phyllo into three strips lengthwise. About 1″ from bottom of the strip, place a heaping ½ teaspoon of chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon raspberry jam. Fold one corner of phyllo diagonally across to opposite edge to form a triangle. Continue to fold triangle onto itself until the end of the phyllo is reached. Place the triangle on an ungreased baking sheet. Repeat with the other  strips. Then repeat the entire process 9 more times to create 30 triangles.
Place triangles on an ungreased baking sheet at least 1 inch apart. Spray lightly with cooking spray and bake for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Slightly cool and dust with powdered sugar.
