Description
Football appetizers are a must for any game day, whether it’s week 10 of the regular NFL season or the Super Bowl. Like you, your die-hard sports friends will get caught up in the game, drowning out the play-by-play with plenty of living room commentaries and shouting. But they’ll also be hungry and appreciate your assortment of football appetizers that you can make in no time.
Ingredients
- 1 box macaroni and cheese
- 1 turkey kielbasa, fully cooked, cut diagonally to be oval-shaped like 30 footballs
- 2 packages (15 count each) Athens® Phyllo Shells
- 30 olive slices
Directions
Prepare macaroni and cheese according to directions.
On a piece of aluminum foil, place kielbasa slices. Place 6 inches under a preheated broiler and broil for 3 minutes. With an oven-safe spatula turn over and broil for 2 minutes. Set aside.
Spoon macaroni cheese into each Phyllo shell. Place a kielbasa slice and olive slice into each shell.
Tips
Serve with mustard and ketchup.
