These sweet, creamy and crunchy desserts can be accented with a variety of toppings — such as nuts, berries, chocolate chips or crumbled cookies — to create a personalized party favorite.
- 8†ounces cream cheese, softened
- 6†tablespoons sugar
- 2†teaspoons flour
- 1†teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4†teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 packages (30 count) Athens® Mini Phyllo Shells
- 1/2†cup seasonal fruit, preserves or favorite topping for garnish
In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and flour. Blend in egg, vanilla and lemon juice, until smooth.
Spoon 1 rounded teaspoon of filling into each Phyllo Shell. Bake in preheated 325°F oven 12-15 minutes.
Let cool 10 minutes. Garnish as desired. Serve immediately.
