This sauce has some spice and everything nice. Cranberries cool off the jalapeño peppers perfectly, while the ginger leaves your palate feeling super refreshed. Opposites really do attract!
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup onion, coarsely chopped
- 1 tbsp. fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp. jalapeÒo pepper, coarsely chopped
- 1 1/2 cups canned whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 tbsp. lemon zest
Heat oil; saute onion, ginger and pepper for 2-3 minutes. Add cranberries, heat and stir. Turn off heat and add lemon zest.
