Winner in the 1-2-3-4 Mini Phyllo Shells Recipe Contest
- 3/4 cup gyro meat
- 1/4 cup hummus
- 1 package (15 count) Athens® Phyllo Shells
- 1/4 cup Tzatziki sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Feta cheese with Mediterranean herbs, crumbled
In a small nonstick pan over medium heat, brown gyro meat. Drain on paper towel and chop into bite-size pieces.
Place a 1/2 teaspoon of hummus in the bottom of each Phyllo shell and top with gyro meat. Place a dollop of Tzatziki sauce on top of the meat and garnish with Feta.
*Tip: Sliced roast beef can be substituted for gyro meat.
