- 1 log (8 ounces) goat cheese, softened
- pinch salt
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 packages (15 count, each) Athens Phyllo Shells
- 1 Bosc pear
- 2 tablespoon chives, chopped
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
Directions
Using electric mixer, whip goat cheese, salt and heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Chop pear into small cubes. Pipe or spoon whipped goat cheese mixture into phyllo shells. Top with pears, sprinkle with chives, and drizzle with honey. Serve.
Tips
To prevent pear from browning, place chopped pears in 1/2 cup water with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice for 5 minutes. Drain well and pat dry before placing on goat cheese mixture.
