Searching for a simple, healthy snack to help you stay on track? Try these heavenly Lox & Cream Cheese phyllo bites that pack the perfect combination of crunch and creaminess!


Ingredients
  • 1 package (15 count, each) Athens® Mini Phyllo Shells
  • 2 ounces smoked salmon, sliced approx. 3″ length
  • 1 package (8 ounce) reduced fat cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons capers, for garnish

Directions

Spoon 1 heaping teaspoon of cream cheese into each shell. Place a slice or two of smoked salmon on top of cream cheese. Garnish each shell with capers.


Tips

For added crispness, preheat oven to 350°F. Place empty shells on a baking sheet and bake for 3-5 minutes. Cool and fill.
